Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a specialization in Data Analytics to join our team. As a Software Engineer at Engineering Jobs at American Express, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that have a direct impact on our bUKiness operations and Customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define data analytics requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics systems.
Perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis to derive actionable insights.
Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics.
Build and maintain data visualization dashboards for stakeholders.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with indUKtry regulations.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in Data Analytics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehoUKing.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plUK.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
