The Compensation Team leads the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support corporate clients worldwide. This includes the development of base pay programs, incentive plans and alternative compensation programs that encourage the attraction and retention of key talent while reflecting market conditions, internal capital, a strong pay-for-performance philosophy, and company priorities and strategies.

Compensation Analysts help implement and manage compensation programs such as salary, short and long term incentives, performance reviews, and salary surveys that support the company’s business strategy. Compensation Analysts work with the global, regional and local HR/Compensation communities to provide assistance in the delivery of compensation initiatives/policies/processes within the Disney Entertainment & Media Distribution (DMED) segment.

Responsibility
  • Support overall management of key compensation cycles (profit enhancement, short term and long term incentive programs) by working closely with the Total Compensation team to ensure accurate data and to help manage planning and communication with clients
  • Manage the setup, deployment and maintenance of the company’s integrated online compensation planning tool.
  • Responsible for data coordination, management, review and reporting for the Compensation team including daily data management and participation in the annual salary survey
  • Assist the Compensation team in supporting customer groups in workflow e.g. B. when creating a new position in the recording system
  • Conduct market capitalization research and assist with promotions and new hires.
  • Provide analytical support for the design, development, and cost modeling of variable compensation plans.
  • Provide project-based support for award initiatives across the organization and ensure the diverse needs of our customers are met
  • Complete special projects as they appear
Basic Qualification
  • 1+ years compensation experience
  • Strong understanding of compensation practices and trends
  • Strong analytical, project management and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP, Success Factors, Cognos and Access are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Strong ability to research, analyze and manage data
  • Outstanding quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail
