  1. Conduct regular surveillance and monitoring of Costco Wholesale locations to detect and prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks.
  2. Collaborate with store management and other Loss Prevention team members to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and reduce loss.
  3. Investigate and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to management and law enforcement when necessary.
  4. Monitor and review security footage to identify potential threats and provide evidence for investigations.
  5. Conduct audits of cash handling procedures and inventory to ensure compliance with company policies.
  6. Train and educate employees on loss prevention protocols and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents and investigations.
  8. Conduct thorough and timely investigations of employee and member complaints and concerns related to loss prevention.
  9. Collaborate with external partners, such as law enforcement and security agencies, to support investigations and prevent future incidents.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvement to management.
  11. Ensure compliance with all company and legal policies and regulations related to loss prevention.
  12. Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Maintain a professional and customer service-oriented approach when interacting with employees and members.
  14. Execute any other tasks or duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
  • Previous Experience In A Retail Or Security-Related Role Preferred
  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Identify Potential Risks Or Losses
  • Familiarity With Security Systems And Procedures, Such As Cctv Monitoring And Inventory Control.
