Harper Adams University seeks a highly motivated and experienced veterinary surgeon with primary interests and experience in livestock health and veterinary practice in the United Kingdom to join the Veterinary Health and Animal Sciences Department. This post is part-time, working 2.5 days per week.

The appointee will take a leading role in developing and delivering the new veterinary technician apprenticeship at the university, and will also be involved in the delivery of teaching and assessment across the portfolio of courses that the university offers. There may be an occasional need to work at weekends to cover university open day commitments.

It is essential that the successful candidate holds a degree in veterinary medicine and is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) with experience in large animal veterinary practice in the UK. It is also essential that the successful candidate can work within in a team and has a high level of interpersonal skills.
